Jerod Elcock, Devin Augustine, Jonathan Farinha and Kyle Greaux made a valiant attempt to qualify for the Olympic Games on day three of the NGC/NAAATT National Championships at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, in Port of Spain, late on Sunday.

The Trinidad and Tobago quartet, however, fell short of the 38.29 seconds clocking required to nudge Netherlands out of the 16th and final Men’s 4x100 metres qualifying spot.
