The Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) extends sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Barataria Councillor Pernell Bruno.
Bruno represented T&T at the CARIFTA and CAC games in athletics and earned an athletic scholarship to attend Farleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
His passion, dedication and commitment for the betterment of his community and country- his ethos of selfless service and his deep desire and resolute vision for a better Trinidad and Tobago stood out.
His resolute faith and confidence of the power of sport to make a positive difference in the lives of the youth of the nation was unwavering and an inspiration.
Mr Bruno's passing is a tremendous loss to Trinidad and Tobago.
