Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee President Diane Henderson heralded the signing of the official host contract for next year’s Commonwealth Youth Games as a "momentous occasion".

Henderson joined the country’s Sports Minister Shamfa Cudjoe and Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) President Dame Louise Martin in putting pen to paper on the agreement at the National Aquatic Centre in Couva in Trinidad.
