Saturday was Fete with the Saints and also football at the Ato Boldon Stadium. Sunday was the T&T International Marathon which resulted in pain, pain and more pain on Monday. But let us rewind the clock, to the preparation, that I undertook for my fourth marathon in a row.

Members of the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) have completed the 36th edition of the Trinidad and Tobago International Maraton in support of the TeamTTO #10Golds24 Athlete Welfare and Preparation Fund.

Brothers Stephen and Simon Njoroge almost did not make it to the start of the marathon, but when they did, the Kenyan siblings snatched gold and silver respectively in the 36th edition of the Trinidad and Tobago International Marathon, yesterday.

The 2018 edition of the T&T International marathon was dominated by foreign athletes. The 35th edition of the prestigious race was captured by Stephen Njoroge of Mexico.

Defending champions Jose Alejandro Varela and Leah Kigen will aim to defend their titles when the 36th edition of the Trinidad and Tobago International Marathon takes place tomorrow in a weekend full of long distance events.
