Youth, women and entrepreneurship will take centre stage next month at the 3rd annual Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) Sport Industry TT Conference.

This year’s conference, under theme “Youth, Young People and Women – Raising Awareness and Encouraging Entrepreneurship” is set for March 8th at the Hyatt Regency in Port of Spain.

Senator the Honourable Paula Gopee-Scoon, Minister of Trade & Industry will deliver the keynote address.

Previous featured speakers at the conference which is gaining regional and international acclaim include Kevin Roberts, Founding Editor of SportBusiness International and Dr. Terrence Farrell, former Chairman of the Trinidad and Tobago Economic Development Advisory Board.

The one-day event will once again bring together industry leaders in business and finance, tourism, media, technology and academia as well as various stakeholders in the local and regional sporting sector.

Over 100 participants attended the conference last year; and the TTOC remains committed to championing and advocating for the development of a viable sports industry in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean.
