At 5am Sunday 17th January, the 2016 Trinidad and Tobago International Marathon www.ttmarathon.com will start at St Mary's Junction Freeport .
The 26. 2 mile journey will take runners and walkers along the Southern Main Road, Eastern Main Road, South Quay, Wrightson Road, Colville Street,Ariapita Avenue ,Cipriani Boulevard on to Queens Park Savannah to the finish line opposite White Hall.
The Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC ) has registered to participate in the Marathon as a fund raiser and to raise awareness ( with the permission of the Trinidad and Tobago Marathon Committee ) for @TTOlympic #TeamTTO #10golds24 (10 or more Olympic Gold medals by the year 2024) athlete welfare and preparation fund.
The TTOC is asking members of the public,friends, supporters ,sport fans to make a financial pledge and contribution at any branch of Scotia Bank account #171188 or by cheque made payable to TTOC.
Its athlete dedicated. All proceeds go to supporting Olympic and potential Olympic athletes to acheive their Olympic dreams.
